Blame it on EggFace that the WLS community is hooked on creating delightful new protein ice cream flavors! Yes, it's her fault. :)

Today I experimented with Frozen Yogurt.

Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Mint Frozen Yogurt
2 Cups Fage Total 0% Yogurt
4 Cups Chocolate Soy Milk (I use Soy Slender)
4 T. Unsweetened Cocoa
1/2 Tsp. Peppermint Extract
1/2 Cup Mini Chocolate Morsels
2 Scoops of Labrada V90 Vanilla Protein

I mixed all the ingredients together with my Cuisinart hand-held mixer and tossed it in our ice cream maker. I tasted it as soft-serve, but I like it set in the freezer for a while.

If you haven't tried the Fage Greek Yogurt, it's awesome. Low in natural sugars and high in protein, it comes in 0%, 2% and Full Fat. All of them are great. The 0% tastes like its fat filled. I mix it with my "blueberry compote" (fresh blueberries, a couple tablespoons of OJ, a touch of Vanilla and splenda or Stevia simmered until thick) with the yogurt and it is fantastick.

Hmmmm. Blueberry frozen Yogurt.
