If you know me, you know that I'm a big fan of Dr. Oz. I love the way he explains body function; his easy-to-understand explainations actually encourage me to learn more.

The folloiwng link shows 15 pictures of various human insides, including the heart, liver, kidneys, brain, lungs, aorta, etc. Pictures of the healthy version and the unhealthy version It's pretty wild.

Well, the countdown for the "40 and Fab" tour is T-4 days. I leave at 7:15 am on Friday morning for Vegas. Should be tons of fun, a weekend with the girls.

Things were pretty hectic these last few weeks. Darren has been traveling, and when he's not been traveling I've been getting things... if it's not one thing, it's another. After Vegas though that's it! Just the regular holiday bustle, which is more than enough. .

This past weekend I co-hosted a baby shower for one of my best friends. Melissa is due early December. She's a diva, in the so-much-of-a-girly-girl sense, and we expect that she'll teach Sophia Danielle to be the same. The shower's theme was a leopard/animal print and Hello Kitty Mix.

I tried my hand at making a diaper cake. Yes, you read it right. A cake made of Diapers. I actually came out great!

Busy, Busy, Busy!

I'm alive, just been real busy and haven't had much time to write anything meaningful, or even meaningless in my blog. LOL

On the post-op front things have been going well, albeit slow. That's okay though. My measurements are showing progress and that's what's important.
Work has been crazy-nuts, but I am making my way through. Next week I'm off to Salt Lake City for training. I'm excited because I'm going to try skiing for the first time while I am there!
Here are some more progress pics. I'm 11 1/2 weeks out today and down 55 lbs. I am, however, going to start to weigh monthly. I think it will be healthier for me mentally. For my updated measurements, click here.
